“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
On this episode of This Day In History, Tony and Armand tell us about the early beginnings of a little place we sometimes refer to as “Sin City.” On this day in 1905, 110 acres are auctioned off to the highest bidder and this piece of land would become what is now downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Plus, McDonald’s opens its first restaurant in 1940 and Abraham Zapruder is born in 1905.
